Royal scientific award (2010-05-07)

Two of the researchers in CleanSense, Dr. Elin Larsson and Dr. Christoph Langhammer, will in May 15th be awarded a prize from the Swedish king for their work. The prize is from the King Carl XVI Gustaf’s 50-years fund for Science, Technology and Environment and constitutes 125,000 SEK. They get the prize for their work with using a nanobased sensing technology to solve complex scientific questions. Read more in the press release here

Presents in Switzerland (2010-04-15)

Dr. Christoph Langhammer presents CleanSense's technology at the Bio-Plasmonics Conference in Zurich, on April 23rd. Presents in San Jose (2009-11-02)

Prof. Igor Zoric presents CleanSense's technology at the American Vacuum Society 56th International Symposium in San Jose, California. The conference takes place 8-13 November and Prof. Zoric's presentation has the title "Nanoplasmonic sensing of metal hydride formation and catalytic reactions on metallic nanoparticles" and covers CleanSense's unique approach to LSPR-sensing. CleanSense's technology is today presented as headline news in the web portal physicsworld.com. The article describes how CleanSense's technology bridges the previously known pressure and material gaps in research. Very well respected researchers also share their praises about the technology. For example Niek van Hulst of the Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona is impressed by the technique and says "The elegance of the method is that only a transparent glass with nanoparticles needs to be mounted in the reaction chamber - it's simple and effective". PUBLICATION IN SCIENCE (2009-10-23)

CleanSense's technology is today presented in the online version of the world's most renowned scientific magazine Science. Special focus is on the technology's unique ability for real-time monitoring of catalytic reactions under realistic conditions. The name of the article is "Nanoplasmonic Probes of Catalytic Reactions" and the authors are Elin Larsson, Christoph Langhammer, Bengt Kasemo and Igor Zoric. Prof. Igor Zoric presents CleanSense's technology at the conference "Hydrogen for the future" in Warsaw, Poland. The conference takes place 21-25 October and is part of the Marie Curie Research Training Network "Hydrogen". CleanSense approved for 2 MSEK-program (2009-08-11)

CleanSense voted "Best Investment Object" (2009-05-06)

CleanSense was today voted the most interesting investment object. The prize was financed by Innovationskapital.

CleanSense winner in Venture Cup (2009-04-29)

Tonight CleanSense was awarded third prize in the Swedish business plan competition Venture Cup. In the Final for the West Region ten companies were nominated and CleanSense finished third and is thereby awarded a place in the Swedish Final that is held in the beginning of June, as one of Sweden's twelve most promising startups.

The jury had the following motivation for awarding CleanSense (in Swedish): En pedagogisk skriven affärsplan med en affärsidé baserad på mångårig forskning . Idén har goda möjligheter att stödja utvecklingen på marknaden och stor potential att bli ett viktigt verktyg för hållbara lösningar.
